🌿Ergon Bio Tank - Flow Chart Eco Friendly Process
🔹 Stage I – Anaerobic Digestion Ergon Bio Collection Process
During acidogenesis, complex organic compounds such as carbohydrates are biologically broken down into volatile fatty acids and hydrogen gas under oxygen-free conditions. This stage initiates liquefaction of organic solids and reduces sludge volume at the source.
Complex organic matter is converted into volatile fatty acids
Sludge begins to liquefy
Pathogens are suppressed
No oxygen, no power, no smell
In this phase, volatile fatty acids are converted into acetic acid, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen. The wastewater becomes biologically stable, odourless, and free-flowing, eliminating the need for mechanical sludge removal.
Outcome: Significant BOD & COD reduction, sludge liquefaction, no odour, no electricity.
Fatty acids are converted into acetic acid
Organic load becomes biologically stable
Sludge volume is minimized permanently
🔹 Stage II – Aerobic Bio-Process Ergon Bio Evaporation Process
Residual organic matter is oxidized by aerobic bacteria in the presence of oxygen. This reaction converts remaining biodegradable pollutants into carbon dioxide and water, achieving final BOD and COD polishing.
Residual BOD & COD removed
Effluent becomes odourless and stable
Ammoniacal nitrogen is biologically oxidized into nitrate, eliminating ammonia-based odour and toxicity. This ensures environmentally safe treated water before final disposal.
Outcome: Removal of residual BOD, COD, and ammonia; odour-free effluent.
Ammonia converted to nitrate
Prevents toxicity and odour
Improves environmental safety
🔹 Stage II plus – Evapotranspiration (ET) ZERO Liquid Discharge (ZLD)
Treated water evaporates naturally due to ambient temperature and airflow, eliminating liquid discharge without pumps or energy.
Transpiration & Oxygen Release
Biological Process: H₂O (liquid) → H₂O (vapor) + O₂
Plants absorb treated water and release moisture and oxygen into the atmosphere, enhancing micro-climate and completing the natural water cycle.
Water released to atmosphere
Plants enhance oxygen & micro-climate
No outlet, no reuse line, no discharge
